In this anime tale from Cartoon Network's Adult Swim series, brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric use the taboo science of alchemy to try to resurrect their mother. Instead, they unleash a chemical reaction that tears apart their bodies. Fast-forward four years: The siblings are scouring the land for the mythical Philosopher's Stone, which could restore their maimed bodies. And they may have located the fabled rock in an affluent desert burg.
