Ambitious high school student Chris Johnson (Scott Cooper Ryan) creates a big problem for himself when he accidentally blows up the chemistry lab. To avoid being disqualified as class valedictorian, Chris must attend a Saturday detention session. Unfortunately, the school's pugnacious woodshop teacher (Jesse Ventura) will be running the session, and a number of unstable characters will be in attendance -- any of whom could derail Chris's future.
